The annual Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival has announced the lineup for the 2019 festival, which will take place in Franklin, Tennessee this September.
This year, the festival’s headliners include Foo Fighters, The Killers, and Keith Urban, as well as other successful acts, such as Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, The Head and the Heart, Lauren Daigle, and more.
Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival started in 2015, and has become one of the most popular music festivals in Tennessee. In 2017, attendance sat at 26,000 attendees on the first day of the festival, and 23,000 on the second day of the festival, according to the Williamson Source.
Last year, Pilgrimage had to cancel most of the first day of the festival and the second day of the festival due to rain. There was substantial backlash on social media after festivalgoers felt that Pilgrimage handled the situation poorly.
This year, Pilgrimage has updated their safety plans to prepare for weather incidents such as last year’s. Festival passes will be available for purchase on Friday.
